Learning Italian in our courses revolves principally around experimenting with all the colors and flavors of Italian life that can be appreciated using diverse learning styles as opposed to one generic style.
Our “on the move” methodology comes from a long and careful analysis of what foreigners want from an Italian language course. Our proven method is based on an analysis of each student’s needs. Based on this, we offer various teaching methods that go beyond simply teaching the actual language; our students learn to speak and become part of Italian daily life.
Therefore, students are able to and in fact must learn the language that allows them to ask for something they might need, or express a thought or an idea. Our method enables our students to fundamentally become part of the culture, as well as understand the language, and therefore the habits and customs of the culture. While vocabulary and pronunciation are two fundamental and detailed aspects of our courses, it is putting into action all that has been learned in the classroom in the real world outside that defines our methodology.
During our “on the move” lessons it is possible to combine and apply all the practical and theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom. Depending on the student’s interests, our courses will be based either on “real life experience journeys” or “cultural excursions”. By attending our courses students experience the perfect combination between language studies and real-life practice.
Learning Italian with Percorsi d’Italiano means:
- more effective learning experience: see, learn, understand.
- more rewarding: learn new words, expressions and phrases, and apply them directly. Take off right away speaking Italian.
- more fun: streets, squares, buildings, Roman markets are a more stimulating and lively environment than a classroom.
